1. Launch Microsoft Edge browser.
2. Visit your favorite website or web page.
3. Click on the Share button available at the top right side next to the address bar in the browser.
Note: This Share button in Microsoft Edge browser is only available in Creators Update of Windows 10 build 15042 or above.
4. This will open a Share panel. Here you need to click on the new option named as Copy Link icon to copy URL of active web page to the clipboard. So that you can paste it into the application of your choice.
